If you've been building digital guides and experiences in STQRY for a while, you know the rhythm. The content is the rewarding part — the stories, the objects, the audio, the interactivity.
But around the edges of that work, there's a lot of friction.
You want your guide available in three languages. That means exporting content, feeding it through a translation tool, reformatting it, and importing it back — and then doing it all again when you update a label. You want professional-sounding audio narration. That means sourcing voice talent, managing files, syncing updates. You want to connect STQRY to the rest of your team's tools and workflows. That means working with developers, waiting on integrations, or just doing things manually.
These aren't edge cases. They're the parts of the job that take the most time and give the least back. We've been watching customers navigate them for years, and we've been building something to help.
Today we're introducing STQRY Studio.
What is STQRY Studio?
STQRY Studio is a suite of tools that sits on top of everything you already use in STQRY. It's not a separate platform or a new product to learn — it sits inside your existing Builder workflow and addresses the jobs that currently require external tools, manual workarounds, or a developer.
We've launched Studio with three tools, two of which you may already be using without knowing they had a name. Here's what's included:
Studio Connect
Studio Connect is the headline launch for Studio, and it's something genuinely new: the ability to integrate STQRY into the tools and workflows you already use.
This comes in threetwo forms:
-
The Studio CLI — a command-line interface that lets technical users and developers interact with STQRY content programmatically. Pull content, push updates, automate workflows, connect to your existing systems.
-
Studio for Desktop — a skill that brings STQRY into Claude, Anthropic's AI platform, and ChatGPT. If your team uses Claude for research, writing, or content work, Studio for Claude means you can manage and update STQRY content from directly inside that workflow.
-
Studio for Codex — the same STQRY skill, available in OpenAI Codex. If your team works in Codex (the desktop app or the CLI), you can manage and update STQRY content from inside that workflow too.
Studio Connect is built on the idea that STQRY shouldn't be a silo. Your content should be accessible from wherever you're already working — and updates you make in your tools should flow back into your guides without extra steps.
Use via the CLI or Studio for Claude is free. Studio features used within the Builder run on Studio Credits, which are included as part of your plan.
Studio Translate
Studio Translate brings AI-powered translation directly into your Builder workflow. Instead of exporting content and managing it externally, you can translate across your entire guide from within STQRY — and when your content changes, updating translations is just as fast.
If your audience speaks more than one language, you know how much time the translation loop costs. Studio Translate closes that loop.
Studio Voice
Studio Voice lets you generate professional audio narration for your content using text-to-speech technology from Amazon Polly and Eleven Labs. You choose from a range of voice options, and the audio is generated and attached to your content without ever leaving STQRY.
Whether you're adding narration to a museum tour, accessibility audio to an exhibition, or spoken content to a conference guide — choose your voice, generate, done. When your content changes, you regenerate in seconds rather than re-recording.
What's Coming next?
We're launching Studio as a suite with real substance already in it, and we're not stopping here. On the near-term roadmap:
- Studio Transcript — extract text from audio, making it easy to get spoken content into your guides or generate transcripts from existing recordings.
- Studio Vision — AI-generated image descriptions to help you build more accessible, richer content around the objects and images in your collection.
Transcript and Vision are run through local AI models hosted by STQRY.
We'll share more details on both as they get closer to release.
Build Interactive Experiences Smarter and Faster with STQRY Studio
STQRY Studio is available to all customers now. Studio Translate and Studio Voice are already inside your Builder — if you haven't explored them yet, they're worth a look. For Studio Connect, you'll find the CLI documentation and the Studio for Claude setup guide in the Help Centre.
We built Studio to help you spend more time on the work that matters and less time on the work that doesn't. We hope it shows.
