January 2021: Apps Gone Live

The year is off to a great start. Learn more about the newest apps we launched in January.  From walking tours to educational games, we are thrilled to bring these stories to life and help our clients around the world launch digital experiences.

Open Pass Scotland: Glasgow Walking Tours

Glasgow, Scotland is a welcoming city known for its rich architecture, unique neighborhoods, and ever-evolving food and drink scene. Today, the city is a national cultural hub home to institutions including the Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet, and National Theatre of Scotland.

Tourists can enjoy walking tours to learn about Glasglow’s history and culture from a local guide. However, many tour providers were unable to continue work after the pandemic hit. Open Pass Scotland turned to the team at STQRY to develop an app, allowing visitors both near and far to discover the incredible attractions and landmarks through their mobile devices.

Support local walking tour providers and discover a fascinating selection of five self-guided audio walking tours of Glasgow as part of the Glasgow City Pass. Enjoy each track, from the inspirational women of Glasgow to incredible street art, vibrant musical culture, and of course the darker gruesome tales of the city. Simply download the app and follow the map locations as you listen on your phone or tablet as you go.
