Digital Media and Holocaust Museums in a Post Survivor Era

Using modern technology to help educate visitors and share difficult histories can be a sensitive thing to navigate for many organizations. In this week's STQRY Sessions, guest speaker, Julia Zungri gave an overview of digital media & holocaust museums in a post-survivor era.

In the webinar, Julia discusses different types of digital media that are being used to educate, and share difficult history, along with others that don't seem to effectively convey the true experiences. Julia recently spoke about the same topic at the 2020 Interpretation Canada virtual conference.

About the speaker:

After receiving a master’s in history from McMaster University, Julia Zungri completed a master’s of museum studies program at the University of Toronto. Julia is passionate about creating inspiring and thought-provoking visitor experiences, particularly at sites interpreting difficult histories.
